T minus 5 days until The Beast Below.
Welcome to this, the 3rd Mostly Harmless Cutaway. Today Eric & Megan break down the newest, latest, and greatest Doctor Who series 5 episode The Eleventh Hour. WARNING: this review/discussion contains no holds barred SPOILERS! Normally our show notes, would be much, much longer and Blue Guy will probably edit & add to this later [watch this space], but we've been piecing this episode together for countless hours now and just want to get it out already!!! Thanks so much to Chris (@dubbayoo), 1 of the 'Three Who Rule' @ the Radio Free Skaro podcast for providing this episode's intro. We certainly feel his contribution adds a bit of much needed stature & altitude(?) to our vertically challenged program. Please follow the links and check out their impeccably flawless Canuck take on the world of Doctor Who. [Megan's Eleventh Hour YouTube Review] Disclaimer: Eric & Megan were a pair squeetastic fangirls during this recording and cannot be held accountable for the gushfest that ensues. In the meantime be sure to resist looking to the farthest corner of your eye, but if you must...

Hi Eric and Megan Loved your review of The Eleventh Hour. Must admit that I lost track of the episode on first viewing but on second viewing, I loved it. The food scene was brilliant. Very Tim Burtonesque and seems to act as a touchstone to the \"Pears\" scene in Human Nature. Cue t-shirts with either \"Bad Bad Beans\", \"And stay out!!!\" with a picture of bread and butter or something representing fish custard... coming to a convention near you soon!!! Matt Smith played The Doctor to as near perfection as he could bearing in mind it\'s his regeneration episode. Part geek, part child-like, part protective grown-up (especially in his scenes with Amelia)... all Doctor. Karen Gillan plays Amy with wonderful comic timing to compliment Matt Smith\'s and her performance augers well for a strong TARDIS team. And speaking of the TARDIS, I can only speak from the words of Doctor 11, \"Oh you sexy thing.\" Best wishes. Telly Addict
